*At the end of September 2019, Revision Military sold its protective eyewear business along with the Revision Military name. The remaining Armor, Soldier Power, Platform Power and Advanced Concept divisions move forward from that date under the new corporate name of Galvion. The press release below was issued prior to that sale, and therefore appears using the Revision Military name.*
Revision Military, a world leader in integrated, purpose-built soldier solutions, announces the addition of Michael Dubie as President of Revision Military Technologies. Dubie retired in October after thirty-six years of military service and most recently was the Deputy Commander of United States Northern Command, where he was responsible for the air and land defense of North America. Dubie was also the Adjutant General for the state of Vermont from 2006 – 2012.
“I am extremely pleased to announce that we have hired LTG (retired) Michael Dubie as the new President of Revision Military Technologies,” said Jonathan Blanshay, CEO of Revision. “Throughout his distinguished career, Mike has been an ardent supporter of providing the U.S. and allied militaries with the very best equipment available. That commitment was exemplified throughout his time as Adjutant General of the state of Vermont. It is truly an honor to welcome Mike to the Revision Team.”
Revision Military Technologies (RMT), a subsidiary of Revision Military, was established in 2013 and is located in a separate optical research facility in Essex Junction, Vermont. This specialty research entity accommodates the Company’s need for an advanced laboratory capable of handling sensitive military projects. It is dedicated to independent research and the development of advanced materials science and unique engineering solutions. In addition to ongoing Research and Development programs with the US Army and Air Force military research laboratories, RMT is developing a number of innovative and proprietary technologies, several of which have the potential to be commercialized into Revision’s product portfolio. RMT has extensively experienced scientists as well as high-tech equipment for advanced optics testing, microscopy, spectroscopy, high energy pulsed laser systems and prototype injection molding and coating equipment.
At RMT, Dubie will be leading Business Development efforts and will work alongside RMT’s Chief Technical Officer, Shaun Abraham, who is currently heading the development of Revision’s advanced laser protective optical programs.
Dubie recently said “I’m extremely excited to join the Revision team. I have great respect for the protection that Revision equipment has provided the men and women serving our Country, and I look forward to being a part of Revision’s future, not only through my work with RMT but also in providing leadership around Revision’s community affairs here in Vermont. My wife Amy and I are excited to make Vermont home again.”
